The Fish Stone

Opal carving,

134 mm Length / 92 mm Width / 16 mm Height. It weights 1219 carats.

The piece is a multicolour opal carved with a relief scene of coral fish in a free shape. The stone’s structure looks very healthy with a natural line on its bottom.
This brilliant piece of precious opal was found in 2008 on the Dead Horse Gully field, Coober Pedy.
The stone is absolutely unique in the world through the colours, carving and shape.
Carving is done by a professional artist in more than 200 hours of work and it has artist’s signature on it.
